The vet team in
Your cat's home from home
With Cats at Seadown you will find cat vets that have animal care experience of over 18 years. Your cat is in good hands with our small team of friendly vets and nurses.
Bob Bentley BVSc MRCVS
Partner/Veterinary SurgeonI qualified from Bristol in 1981 and have always been in mixed practice - joining Seadown in 1983 and becoming a partner in 1987. I am still managing to combine small animal, large animal and equine work within the practice rota. Outside of work you will find me either in a gym or on a bike.
Kate McMorris BVetMed CertVOphthal MRCVS Partner/Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1995 and went into mixed practice in Kent for 5 years before coming to Seadown in 2000, where I became a partner in 2003. I have always been interested in ophthalmology and started seeing referrals in 1998 when I gained my Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology. I now get the chance to do all the cataract surgery at Seadown which I really enjoy. Outside work I am most likely to be found on a horse (I have 4!), and I have been long-listed for the GB team for Trec (which is orienteering and cross-country on horseback). I am really interested in horse behaviour and natural horsemanship techniques, and enjoy the challenge of training difficult or untrusting horses. I live in Blackfield with my husband and 4 cats, 3 sheep, 4 tortoises, 3 ducks and a lively Golden Retriever, although the menagerie is ever changing!
